Abilene attracting visitors beyond Kansas with full lineup of events occurring in April
A full lineup of spring events is set to bring visitors to Abilene throughout April, with activities ranging from quilt shows and markets to a Boston Marathon qualifying race and a community-wide heritage celebration.
The monthlong schedule is expected to draw visitors from across Kansas and beyond, offering something new each week for residents and travelers alike.
“From nationally recognized races to hands-on experiences and heritage events, April showcases what makes Abilene a destination,” said Julie Roller Weeks, Director of the Abilene Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Whether you’re planning a day trip or a weekend getaway, there is always something happening.”
