2) Downtown Abilene Cruise for Food Car Show - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Be dazzled by the Downtown Abilene Cruise for Food Car Show, running parallel to the Antique Fest. From 10 am to 2 pm, classic car enthusiasts and casual observers alike can admire a stunning display of vintage vehicles. Registration opens at 9 am, with exciting drawings for cash and prizes adding to the excitement. Coordinated by Rod Riffel from Amanda's Bakery & Bistro, this car show is a highlight of the day's festivities.
3) Abilene & Smoky Valley Railroad: Teatime with Jenny Seelye on the Smoky Valley Limited - 2:00 pm
As the day winds down, embark on a journey through history aboard the Abilene & Smoky Valley Railroad's special event, "Teatime with Jenny Seelye." Step back in time to the lavish parties hosted by Jenny Taylor Seelye in the grandeur of the Seelye Mansion. Indulge in a selection of delectable desserts and finger sandwiches meticulously recreated by Abilene baker Amanda Collins. As you traverse the Smoky Hill River Valley, immerse yourself in the Seelye legacy with engaging narration highlighting this era of elegance and sophistication.
