I Like Greyhounds! Join the Excitement at the National Greyhound Association's Spring Nationals Meet
Are you ready for a week filled with speed, excitement, and the world's fastest canines? The National Greyhound Association is proud to present the Spring Nationals Meet, taking place from April 22 to April 26. This thrilling event will showcase the incredible athleticism and grace of greyhounds as they compete in a series of stakes races.
Schedule Highlights:
- April 15 & 18: Pre-stake schooling at 8:30 a.m.
- April 19: Stake Entry Deadline at 11:00 p.m. (All pups), Draw for Round One at 2:00 p.m.
- April 22: Round 1: All Stakes at 9:00 a.m.
- April 23: Replay of Round 1 races at 8 a.m.-5 p.m., NGA Board of Directors Meeting at 9:00 a.m., Draw for finals at 2:00 p.m., Shannon Henry’s Spring Bash at 6:00 p.m., Replay of Round 1 races on local TV at 10:00 p.m. (Eagle Communications channel 2)
- April 24: NGA Board of Director’s Meeting at 8:30 a.m., Replay of Round 1 races at 8 a.m.-5 p.m., NGA Business Meeting at 1:00 p.m. (Greyhound Hall of Fame), Hall of Fame Board of Director’s Meeting at 2:30 p.m. (Greyhound Hall of Fame), Spring Meet Gathering at 6:30 p.m.
- April 25: Replay of Round 1 races at 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Finals: All Stakes at 9:00 a.m., Hall Of Fame Party & Awards Ceremony at 6:30 p.m., Replay of Final races on local TV at 10:00 p.m. (Eagle Communications channel 2)
- April 26: Racing Auction & Brood Stock Auction at 9:00 a.m. (Greyhound Hall of Fame)
