6. Ike "I Come from the Very Heart of America" Mural
Location: Bert & Wetta Sales Silo, 509 SE 4th Street (Coming Fall 2024)
Scheduled for completion in the fall of 2024, this mural will be a tribute to one of Abilene’s most iconic figures, President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Featuring his famous quote, "I come from the very heart of America," this mural on the Bert & Wetta Sales silo will be a powerful homage to Eisenhower's legacy and Abilene’s role in his story. It's set to become a landmark attraction that will draw visitors from near and far.
