How to Find the Waterfall

Finding Brown Memorial Park and its beautiful waterfall is easier than you think! Follow these simple steps for a smooth and scenic drive:

  1. Head south from Abilene on Highway 15.
  2. Turn left onto 2000 Avenue (the first left after crossing the Smoky Hill River bridge – keep an eye out for signs!).
  3. Continue on 2000 Avenue, which will become Hawk Road.
  4. Pass the first Brown Memorial Home sign and keep going.
  5. Turn left onto 1935 Lane (watch for the park sign).
  6. Continue past the grand stone pillars.
  7. At the fork in the road, stay to the left.
