Think Pink! Pink Friday Returns to Abilene November 20!
Get ready to shop, celebrate, and show some love to Abilene's small businesses! Pink Friday returns Friday, November 20, 2026, kicking off the holiday shopping season with a reminder to Shop Local First!
Forget the Black Friday crowds and shipping delays! Pink Friday is a nationwide movement created by The Boutique Hub to encourage shoppers to support small businesses before the holiday shopping rush.
A Little Pink Goes a Long Way!
Pink Friday made its Abilene debut in 2021 thanks to Jamie Stroda of Aksent Boutique, who brought the national movement to her hometown.
What started as a way to encourage shoppers to think local first has become a wonderful reminder of the important role small businesses play in our community.
And there's plenty to love about shopping in Abilene! From charming boutiques and specialty stores to one-of-a-kind gifts and friendly faces, downtown Abilene and businesses throughout the community make holiday shopping an experience worth celebrating.
Shop Small. Make a BIG Difference!
Every local purchase makes an impact. When you shop Abilene first, you're doing more than crossing names off your Christmas list. You're supporting local jobs, helping small businesses thrive, contributing to community services, and investing in the place we call home.
Plus, there's something wonderful about finding the perfect gift, taking it home that day, and knowing your purchase made a difference right here in Abilene!
Take the Pink Friday Pledge!
This holiday season, make a commitment to check Abilene's shops before shopping elsewhere.
Whether you're buying gifts, picking up stocking stuffers, or treating yourself to something special, your local businesses are ready to welcome you!
Mark your calendar for Friday, November 20, and let's paint Abilene pink!
